Nominations due March 1
The Hall of Fame Committee evaluates nominees and forwards its recommendation to the SDGA Board, which reviews it in April. New members are inducted at the year-end SDGA Annual Banquet.
Eligibility categories
Skill
Demonstrated achievement including multiple championships in high-level competition at the state or national level.
Contribution
Demonstrated support or significant impact on the game, the SDGA and/or its Junior Golf Foundation, the USGA or another impactful golf organization, professional or amateur.
Skill / Contribution
Some combination of the above.
Criteria for inclusion
- Nominee is at least 50 years of age.
- Nominee was born, lived or educated in South Dakota, or currently has personal ties to South Dakota.
Nomination materials
- Online Nomination Form
- Letter of nomination from the nominator
- Detailed biography of the nominee
- At least two additional letters of recommendation
- Optional: clippings, internet links, photographs
